Deniz Ozenbas
Deniz Ozenbas is an Associate Professor of Finance at Montclair State University School of Business. Her research is mainly in the field of equity market structure and market efficiency. Her work has been published in journals that include International Finance, Journal of Portfolio Management, Economics Letters, BE Press Journal of Macroeconomics, and was presented at domestic and international conferences. She has been awarded the Nasdaq Dissertation Fellowship by the Nasdaq Stock Market, and received the Oscar Lasdon Award for best dissertation in the area of Finance from Baruch College, City University of New York. Her joint work with Robert Schwartz and Robert Wood has received the Award for Excellence at the Global Conference on Business and Economics annual meeting in London, England. Dr. Ozenbas holds a PhD in Finance from Baruch College, City University of New York, and a BA from Bogazici University, Turkey.

Bilgesu Aksaz, Binghamton University
Bilgesu Aksaz joined Ward Media Inc. as a Business Analyst after receiving aninternational dual B.S degree from both Binghamton University and Middle EastTechnical University.
As an analyst, she is currently working on campaign conversion metrics, revenuereporting and call center quality optimization. She is experienced in marketresearch and analyzing large-scale quantitative data. While pursuing her B.S, sheworked for the Nielsen Company where she got experience on web analytics andsocial media.
Bilgesu holds a B.S degree in Business Administration and Marketing and certifiedfrom New York University on Media Research.
Ekin Dogus Cubuk, Harvard University
Ekin Dogus Cubuk is a graduate student at Harvard University’s Applied Physics PhD program. After attending Robert College in Istanbul, Dogus studied physics and electrical engineering at Swarthmore College for his undergraduate degree. He enjoys playing soccer and basketball in his free time.
Yigit Kiran, New York University
Yigit Kiran is a MS Computer Science student at New York University focusing on Distributed, Parallel and Concurrent Systems. He is also working as a part-time Software Engineering intern at Simulmedia, a media advertisement startup company in NY.
Yigis is experienced in large scale data processing using most recent technologies and tools like hive and hadoop. Earlier, Yigit was a writer and editor in PC Magazine’s Turkey edition. He worked on open source and commercial web based application development platforms and contributed to different projects. During his undergraduate education, he also had an experience on mobile application development. Yigit has a passion on a wide range of computer science fields and its entrepreneurial opportunities.
Yigit holds a BS degree in Computer Engineering from Koc University, Turkey.
Onur Okutur, Columbia Business School
Prior to business school, Onur worked as a consultant, mostly for PricewaterhouseCoopers, providing management consulting services ranging from strategy implementation to process improvement projects and gaining international work experience in Switzerland, Turkey and Dubai. During the later stages of his work he focused mainly on M&A deals, conducting due diligence and providing post-deal services for large investment banks and private equity firms. Currently concentrating on the energy industry, Onur spent his summer working in corporate strategy at a large natural gas & power retailer in the US. He plans to move forward in the energy industry with a focus on renewable energy sources. Onur, a graduate of Robert College, holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bogazici University, Turkey.
Fatma Yalcin, M.I.T.
From acting as an agent between academic experts and clients at one of the top economic consulting firms, Analysis Group, to analyzing new business opportunities in international logistics as a freight forwarder at Vega Shipping, Fatma Yalcin experienced the value of intermediation first hand.
As an MBA student at the MIT Sloan School of Management, she continued to bring different groups together through various activities focused on marketing and entrepreneurship. As the MarketLab Co-director, Fatma matched companies and MBA student teams to work on marketing projects, while as the Co-President of the Sloan Entrepreneurship Club, she organized networking, brainstorming, and speaker events where entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and industry experts could connect.
This summer, Fatma also launched a non-profit initiative, TurkPioneer, which aims to be a one-stop website featuring expert blogs and events of all associations supporting entrepreneurship in Turkey. The organization operates a program to match MBA student teams at top U.S. business schools with Turkish entrepreneurs for mini-consulting projects.
